In a game of few clear cut chances we triumphed with a solitary goal which fell to Guy Ansah-Palmer in the 73rd minute. As games go this was a battle, not in terms of physicality but in terms of teamwork, effort and application.

Not a pretty game by any means but come that final whistle the relief was palpable as we managed our first win in a fair while which gave us three points that keeps us in touch with the group of clubs outside the play-off places. We’re now only two points behind Badshot Lea, who we play next week.
