Midfielder Toure Williams joins Hanworth Villa
Hanworth Villa have strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielder Toure Williams ahead of the new season.
The 20-year-old joins the Villains after starting last season with Bashley, having previously progressed through the academy at AFC Bournemouth. A composed and technically gifted midfielder, Williams is comfortable in both defensive and attacking roles, bringing energy and versatility to the centre of the pitch.
Toure left Bashley in December having made 27 appearances for the Stags, going on to join Fareham Town where he scored three goals in his 22 appearances.
On signing for Villa, Toure said, “I’m excited to get started at Hanworth, and having faced them last season I know of the quality in the squad. I can’t wait to meet the fans and show them what I am all about.”
His arrival is another positive addition as Simon Haughney continues to build a squad capable of competing at the upper reaches of the Southern League Premier South, on his joining Simon said “Toure is a fantastic prospect, who stood out when we played Fareham last season, and he will suit our style of play.”
