Hanworth Villa now know the road ahead as the Southern League Premier South fixtures for the 2026/27 season have been released, with the Villains preparing for an exciting first campaign at Step 3.
The new season will see Villa face a number of familiar rivals alongside former National League South opponents as they embark on their latest chapter following promotion.
The league campaign gets underway on Saturday 8 August, with Villa making history by hosting their first-ever Step 3 fixture at Rectory Meadow against Taunton Town. The visitors managed by former Torquay United boss Gary Johnson will be a tough opening fixture, but its great to get our first ever campaign at Step 3 fixture at home in our 50th anniversary season.
The Villains then travel to Gosport Borough on Wednesday 12 August before making another trip to former National League South side Bath City. Villa return home shortly afterwards to welcome Evesham United as they face a demanding opening month in their new division.
The Summer Bank Holiday Monday fixture on 31 August promises to be one of the early highlights of the season, with local rivals Chertsey Town visiting Rectory Meadow in what is expected to be a lively derby occasion.
September brings a combination of league and cup action, with home fixtures against Yate Town and Chichester City, while a trip to Berkhamsted awaits midweek. Villa will also begin their Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Trophy campaigns during the month, with opponents to be confirmed closer to the dates.
October provides another challenging period with a packed schedule, with away matches against Malvern Town, Bracknell Town and Havant & Waterlooville, alongside home meetings with Gloucester City, Chippenham Town and Plymouth Parkway, offering supporters a number of attractive fixtures throughout the autumn.
The festive schedule includes a home fixture against Uxbridge on 19 December before the traditional Boxing Day derby against Hanwell Town at Rectory Meadow. The first match of 2027 sees Villa travel to Chertsey Town on Saturday 2 January, followed by a home meeting with Frome Town a week later.
As the season reaches its crucial stages, Villa face several important fixtures. February features encounters with Havant & Waterlooville, Chippenham Town, Basingstoke Town and Plymouth Parkway, while March includes a trip to Taunton Town, a home clash with Bath City, and the Easter fixtures against Gosport Borough on Good Friday and Hanwell Town on Easter Monday.
The regular league season concludes with a home fixture against Sholing on 10 April before the final-day trip to Uxbridge on 17 April.
With local derbies, challenging away trips and several former Step 2 clubs awaiting them, the 2026/27 fixtures promise to deliver an exciting and historic campaign for everyone connected with Hanworth Villa.
Supporters are encouraged to follow the club’s official channels throughout the season, as all fixtures remain subject to change.
