After our penalty victory against Harefield in the first round in the Middlesex Senior Cup and an upturn in league form all attention turned to this tricky away tie in the second round against Hendon on a cold night.

Personnel-wise we were down to our bare bones with no first team goalie available and only two subs. We were always going to be up against it facing a very good Hendon side .
Although the scoreline states that we were hammered 5-1 it never felt like a 5-1 game. We were competitive throughout but Hendon had that real clinical edge and made the most of set pieces.
