We can confirm midfielder Bruno Robertson-Tingle will leave Hanworth Villa this summer.

Bruno was our second-longest serving player having scored 12 goals across 113 appearances. He was also part of our 2021/22 invincibles squad in the Combined Counties League when we achieved promotion to Step 4 without losing a league match.

A notorious big-game player, Bruno scored his last goal for Villa in a famous come-from-behind 5-3 win over Harrow Borough in November 2024. He made his final appearance as a substitute in March’s 2-0 win over Rayners Lane.

Having struggled through last season with a niggling back injury, Bruno has decided to step away to focus on his work commitments. Here is what he has to say to Villa fans:

“I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from Hanworth due to recent injuries and to focus on growing work commitments. Hanworth has given me some of my best memories in football as well as friendships for life and I have loved being a part of such a special club.

“I want to say a massive thank you to Si, Paul, Chris, the fans and everyone behind the scenes for their trust and support during my time at the club. I wish the boys the best of luck going into the new season and I’ll see you all at the Ranch soon!

UP THE VILLA ❤️

We thank Bruno for his contributions to the club and the door at Rectory Meadow will always remain open for him!
