On a tricky pitch Villa put in another disciplined and professional performance against relegation threatened Badshot Lea. A goal in each half was enough to seal the points with Finlay Macnab back to scoring ways on the half hour and a George Wells strike after the break. The win pushing Villa up into fifth – back in the play-off places and just four points behind Kingstonian in second place.
Next up we have Southall visit us at Rectory Meadow on Saturday, but this is very different Villa team than the one that lost on our travels just before Christmas. Should be a tasty game.
