How it played out
In a hard fought game played in very blustery conditions the teams cancelled each other out in a largely forgettable first half before – on the hour – goals that had been hard to come by, all arrived within 10 minutes of each other (like the 111 route back in the day). We should have and could have had more but 3-1 was a satisfying scoreline. This win puts us up to sixth in the league.
